INDUCTEES
OF THE
CARTOON CHARACTER
HALL OF FAME

Here it is in its prenatal form.  A list of the current members of the Cartoon Character Hall of Fame.  The first criteria to consider is that people and characters must have been involved in animation for at least twenty years before they can be considered for induction into the Hall of Fame.

Please check back here from time to time.  I intend for this site to grow. Links will be included that will take you to fact sheets for each character listed below.  These will include things like filmographies, voice actors, catchphrases, trivia, etc. But, what I need is contributors.  I realize many of you will look at this list and say, "Hey, what about ...!"  Well, I know there are many omissions.  This list is based on my research, and my knowledge mostly extends through American animation, and I want to include all forms of animation from around the world.  So, I'm looking for people who can contribute information on anime and other international animation for consideration for induction into the hall of fame.

At the bottom of this list you will find a link to the Hall of Fame's discussion group where we can bat around ideas and stay informed of Hall of Fame updates.  Please, sign up.  I would like this site to evolve into one of the definitive locations for information on animation history on the internet, but I know it has a long way to go.  This list is only a beginning.
